Waiting.........

Just called the Neurologist and now I'll wait for a couple of days to find out more about my labs and what he thinks.

I have to work a crappy 4 hours tonight of mandatory overtime. It's silly weather again. It snowed four inches last night and this morning it was pouring rain and thundering. We have a few errands to run before I head off to work. At least it's only 4 hours and it will go quick. The chill of today has gone straight to my bones. I don't mind the cold but when it's coupled with dampness.........Brrrrrrrrr.........Nothing a nice warm bath won't cure.

I have to get out and get my daughter and her roomate, Brit, a few goodies for Valentine's Day. College kids love to receive packages and Zoe's birthday is coming up. I can't believe she'll be 19. Makes me feel old! So tomorrow, we'll be headed to the Apple store for the childbrat's birthday gift. The gifts get more expensive as they get older.

Today, when I went out to feed the horses, I noticed a strange hole dug into the old tall grass next the barn as I bent down to crawl through the fence and there peeking out at me was a little bunny. I shouted to my husband and made him come down and look at the bunny. I hope it's still there because I'll take a picture of it.

I was 26 when I had her, so I'll be 45 this year. WOW. That sucks!

I am surprised you are able to take a warm bath with MS..I have had to just take showers for years as I was unable to get out of the warm tubs--my legs would turn to jello from the warmth of the water..in fact, they used to dx people with MS years ago by seeing if the person could get out of a warm tub! Hope your shift goes by quickly...

I refuse to give my tub. I don't turn to jello yet, but I do have a shower available if need be.

Good for you!

I hate that chill to the bone feeling. I had to give up the tub a few years ago. No hot tubs anymore either. Just saw the weather for the next couiple nights. Time to put back on the long johns. Stay warm

Oh, Harkoo, I hope I didn't sound harsh. I just hate the thought of giving up my tub. I think when it gets to that I'll order an old folks step in tub with a door...LOL

Yeah, we're due for some nasty stuff tomorrow night. Something like 9 inches of snow. They put out a winter storm warning....crap!

I still get my hot water "bathing experience" daily by taking a hot shower before I go to bed where I can collapse. Just can't get out of the tub anymore.....

It just worries me, because I'm the sort that will sit in the tub for an hour watching tv and just relaxing. It is a bit harder getting out, but I'm not ready to give up. I told my husband that when it comes time, it'll be a sit up tub with the door...LOL....You see it's an old claw foot, nice and deep, I bought it from a neighbor 12 years ago for 50 bucks, sanded it and painted it because all of my life I had wanted an old fashoined claw foot tub.
